What is the pound sterling forecast?
Hey, i’ve been following the currency climate lately, as im looking into booking a holiday for the family this summer. We were thinking of going to Tokyo or maybe even New York. I know the pound is currently around 148 yen and about 1.46 dollars. What do you predict it will be around august or september?
hi – impossible to say but i think the pound will recover towards the end of the year. It all depends on economic data in the meantime. If its holiday cash you’re talking about, generally WHERE you get it makes a much bigger difference than trying to play the currency markets. As a rule, the closer you get to the airport the worse the rate gets.
