Currency Exchange Rates Dollar Pound

currency exchange rates dollar pound
Do I multiply the exchange rate by the foreign currency to get the U.S. Equivalent?

I called a U.S. bank to ask the question and they said the only time you divide the exchange rate to find the U.S. dollar equivalent is on the Irish or English pound, all other foreign currencies are multiplied by the exchange rate. Sounds right?

Yes, since the US currency is used worldwide as the base currency. But if you want to find out conversion rates, here’s the website that may help.
