Cracked Doll Face Makeup

How to do makeup for an evil doll costume?

For a Halloween party I’m thinking about being an evil doll >:D I’m gonna get a cheap dress and tear it and spill fake blood, and wear it with white stockings and dressy shoes. I’m putting my hair in pigtails and bows…but any ideas on how I should do the makeup? Focusing on the eyes..keep in mind I have glasses though. And how would I make it look like I have cracks in my face?

I would try to go as light of skin as you can. Apply light concealers and powders to your face (baby powder may even work) and then a dark pink blush to just the apples of your cheeks to get the adorable look still. Other than the cheeks, your whole face should be the same color to get the fake skin look. Waterline your eyes (the bit of eyelid that is closest to your eyes) with some sort of shimmery, or creamy white eyeshadow to make them look large, than apply black eyeliner around to define their shape. I would go with false eyelashes to go the extra mile, but if you are uncomfortable, apply lengthening mascara several times to make them extra long. (If you place a note card just above your top eyelids, than brush the mascara to your eyelashes against the note card, it will separate them while making them as long as possible. Make sure if you do use false eyelashes, that you still apply mascara afterward so your real ones blend in. If your dress is a certain color, you can also add eyeshadow that matches?

If you want the doll to look vampire-y/bloodthirsty, brush bright red lipstick just to the inner part of your lips, leading out to the outer perimeter, without touching. THis will make it looks like you ate something bloody, YUMMY! If not, go with any pink lipstick. Try to stay away from gloss so that it looks fake still.

As far as cracks go, I would stick with a zigzag pattern. I would first brush a really broad zigzag onto a part of my face with a dark brown eyeshadow and defining brush (some really small, thin brush so you can be exact with detail.) After you draw on that zigzag, use black eyeliner to line just one side of the crack or add in shadow detail to make it look like you’re broken.

Don’t be afraid to get creative! Try your makeup on before that night, so you know which works and which doesn’t.
