How do I attach a key to a wind-up doll costume?
Any help or advice would be appreciated 
As you all know, tonight is Halloween, and I’m kinda running out of time! Nothing like last-minute pressure, right? I’ve fashioned a steampunk-esque key out of tin and cardboard, and have no idea how to attach it to my dress without damaging the dress or creating an awkward harness. Some people have suggested a cardboard wrap-around, but I don’t know how to make that work. Any ideas or input would be awesome. Thanks!
Does the back of the dress have any opening? If it does you could attach the key to a slab of cardboard and just have it taped to your body. If the dress has no opening maybe think about the same cardboard slab but paint it the same color as the dress and safety pin the slab/base to your dress. Hope this helped!
