transmission problems?
I’ve been having trouble with my transmission in my 1996 Ford Ranger (4cyl. 2.3L auto transmission). When I first purchased the vehicle it was towed about 20-30 miles on a car dolly, the guy that towed it didn’t unhook the drive shaft or leave the car running in neutral while towing. Ever since then every time the transmission gets warm it has tremendous back pressure which results in transmission fluid pouring out of the dip stick hole. I talked to my dad about it he thought it might have been the modulator or the torque converter, I thought it best to seek professional advice before proceeding on the mechanical end. any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you
hey when you check do you fill right up to minimum line and it still does it, might be a cooler or restricted line take it to a shop nobody on here can help you fix that
