Should I rescue or show?
I love to show! I’ve shown in youth Western Pleasure for 2 years now and I LOVE it! But I recently went to Colorado and fell in love with a rental horse. She is a very petite half arabian pinto and she looks like a doll! She is very small and is thrown out with huge draft horses that just barrel into her. My mom says I have a choice between her and showing. I cant imagine her up there living like that but I also cant imagine throwing away all my hard work and money that I put into showing What should I do?
wow that’s a big desicion. i would personally go an rescue that horse. Because you can always show a horse when you get older things change. but you can help a good horse. so do what you think is right. If you feel like showings more important than saving a horse go for it. but there will always be shows.
