How to paint something to make it look like old silver.?
For a school project me and some friends need to make a key for a lifesize clockwork doll. We’re planning to use cardboard for the actual key, but how can we make it look like old and dusty etc.
alright metals are kind of a pain in the butt sometimes especially old copper but if i was making old silver then i suggest using gray as a base with aloooot of blackish shadow and lowlights and metals have more highlights because they are very reflective so make sure make good use of your white highlights and possibly suttle highlights of other colors too to creat the illusion of reflections of other objects
