Where could I purchase a small home altar?
In the 1970′s I purchased a plastic altar from a Catholic religious goods store. It looked like a real church altar with a crucifix, angels, a tabernacle that opened with a small chalice in it and had small stairs as a base. It also came with four plastic long candles. There was a plastic backing to keep everything in when the altar was not on display and packed away. Also in the altar was a plastic Last Supper as part of the altar. Since I don’t know what happened to my previous altars, I would certainly be happy if someone could direct me to a place that sells a small home on the table, desk altar. I saw an altar that included a relic of a saint (St. Clare of Assisi), on ebay (I believe it was also an antique), but it was about $400.00 dollars. I am looking for something much, much cheaper.
