Ordering CD from Amazon.com in UK?
I have been looking for a particular CD for ages, and the only place I can find it is on Amazon.com, but I live in the UK. Is it possible to order in the UK via Amazon.com. I believe that the Amazon currency calculator automatically converts the dollars into british pounds, but are there any hidden charges or taxes? Also, can I pay using my ordinary debit card? Finally, I take it that there are no problems or issues with shipping to the UK?
The chances of your Amazon delivery being caught by Customs and Excise (and them charging you VAT) are very low. Especially when it’s only a CD. Normally they only pick expensive and/or large packages.
