
How much would this Hilda Repro Doll be worth?
I had a look on ebay but couldnt find any matching her…
My dolls neck is clearly hand done, and it reads:

made in Germany

1982 (or 1987, cant quite make it out)
Yes she is porcelin
And nothing is coming up in google…
Duncan Enterprises is a small family owned company that sells ceramics and craft supplies. In the 1980′s doll making was a very popular hobby and was taught in classes at hobby shops. The value in repro dolls made using molds such as these depends on the talent of the person that made it. Most are clearly done by amateurs and have very little monetary value to the collector
The one offered for sale on this website is an a good example of one that is poorly painted and overpriced at $65.00. It would probably not get any bids on ebay.

Those painted by experienced artists in the style of the original antique Kestner Hilda sometimes do sell at respectable prices as the original Hilda is often too expensive for many collectors. Here are some repro Hildas on ebay’s completed to compare yours to.
