where can i find a dollhouse kit that looks like hogwarts?
my mom is really into dolls and i really like harry potter, so i thought it would be a fun project to build a doll house that looks like hogwarts from the harry potter books. i’ve tried finding harry potter dollhouses online, but they’re all cheap plastic toys made in china. I want a kit that’s made from wood, like the amazing dollhouses they show in gothic horror movies, something that will last for when i have kids of my own. i’ve looked for castle kits and cathedral kits, but haven’t had much luck.
one option would be to find a person that can do the job of making a better representation of Hogwarts. but they may be pricey…
another option would be to make it yourself. best media would be tissue paper soaked in diluted white glue layered over styrofoam blocks and painted over with acrylic paint…
