Can anybody explain too me the plot of bioshock 2?
i understand the first one. Im just confused with the second won. I beat the game with a good ending, the one where the little sisters give eleanor the big daddy doll and she drops it in the ocean
Set in 1968, eight years after the events in BioShock, Rapture is now under the control of a woman named Sofia Lamb, whose ideas for human progression are a sharp contrast to the city’s deceased founder, Andrew Ryan. While Ryan believed in the genius of the individual, Lamb believes in collective effort and the power of the community, as well as a philosophy surrounding butterfly imagery, indicating some kind of rebirth. This message is spread by a deranged ex-priest named Father Wales, who has created a cult-like religion around Sofia. Father Wales was pulled in by guilt to help Lamb after Rapture fell and Lamb turned Wales’ past against him. During Sofia’s rule, the Little Sisters have matured into adolescence. The maturing causes the once little sisters to be highly aggressive and have the ability to use plasmids absorbed from gathering as a child. The game opens in 1958 with the protagonist, Subject Delta, the first Big Daddy to be successfully bonded to a Little Sister, escorting his little sister through Rapture. He encounters and kills some splicers, but not before one uses a Hypnotize plasmid on him, rendering him unable to attack. Sofia Lamb approaches Delta, stating that his little sister is actually her daughter. She orders Delta to remove his helmet, and has him shoot himself in the head with a pistol. Delta then re-awakens after ten years outside of a Vita-Chamber. Shortly after, Delta finds a gift from Eleanor, an Electric plasmid, and a note asking him to find her. After Delta uses the plasmid to restart a generator, Dr. Brigid Tenenbaum contacts Delta and asks him to help her. The game then centers around Delta working his way through Rapture, seeking out Eleanor and finding clues to what he is.
