Opening collector barbie’s?
Hi, I’m 13 but I wanted the reproduction of Twist-N-turn Barbie for my birthday…So my aunt got me her and I opened her out of the box and my aunt got mad at me for that……So what do you think about opening “collector” barbies?(I’m not saying like, vintage barbie’s but the ones sold now-a-days…..

The reproductions are perfect for taking out of the box, because they won’t go up in value.
Vintage dolls go up in value is because only so many exist, and there can never be any more made. Mattel releases tens of thousands of reproduction dolls every year, so there will never be a shortage of mint reproductions. The only reproductions that have any hope of increasing in value are very limited dolls reserved for the Barbie convention and fan club.
