When you were a little girl, what were your rituals for playing with Barbies?
I have two older sisters and we are two years apart between each of us. We played Barbies alllll the time as children. What were your favorite scenarios or rituals you did when you played with Barbie dolls? Just wondering…
My sisters and I would call shotgun on “bent-arm” ken rather than the “straight arm ken” because he had more versatility. Straight Arm ken was pretty much limited to corevette chauffer.
After choosing our Barbie we went around and told each other what the name of our barbie was, we set up town stations, and always started each scenario with “Ok, let’s pretend…..I dunno why we did this, just wondering what you did with your Barbies. Anyone else use shoes as cars? pffthahaha
I would lay out all the clothes and pick the ones for each barbie and put them in their own pile. Usually I would make it so a barbie and ken liked each other then she got pregnant, [shirt shoved up her dress] and had a kelly, lol. And then he would leave her for her bestfriend Teresa, hahaha. I don’t know where I got those ideas at such a young age but I always did that, and yeah I used shoes as cars =]]
