What do little kids like to read about(any ideas)?
Well, I love writing and i always write stories for Young Adults and adults (none of them have been published though). I was just wondering that writing for little kids must be s**t easy if I have a good story that little kids might like. To get a start on my writing career, I would like to write a book for kids that read stories with a lot of illustrations and BIG fonts. Like barbie stories, cinderella, snow white etc. The language is very easy and simple and not filled with too much of fancy writing styles and twisted plots. I know most stories start with “Once upon a time” and end with “….and they all live happily ever after”. I’m not planning to write something like this. Im going to write something modern.
what do kids usually like to read about? no princess (as they are not so common nowdays)
When I was a kid I loved reading fantasy stories about adventure and overcoming obstacles to achieve some type of a goal. Stuff with mystical creatures and thrill.
My brother likes reading books like The Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Captain Underpants.
