I want to make dollhouse miniatures for Barbie. How do I convert a 1/12 scale pattern to a 1/6 scale pattern?
Like if I scanned the original on my PC, how could I resize it?
I have been working with some images recently where I wanted the image to be the exact size of the scale model so I could use dividers to take measurements off the pictures. So I took the images and cropped them to the very edge of the item so I had the size of the picture the same as the size of the object. It was 18″ tall, and I wanted 1″= 1′, so I converted the 18″ to feet (1.5′) and that to inches 1.5″ ( actually used a spreadsheet because most of the dimensions were like 19 5/8″), so I went into resize the image and made it 1.5″ tall. Of course, I kept the originals separate.
