Crossdressing at school?
Hey well my high school is having a pep rally for the spring sports on thursday. So we are having “spirit events” each day to win stuff from a raffle. if you dress up for that days theme, you get a ticket. Yesterday was barbie and ken day, where boys dressed like a ken doll and girls dressed like a barbie doll. today was opposite gender day, where you dress up as the opposite gender.. Is this weird? should the school be doing this? Its KINDA (if u didnt get the message, emphasis on kinda) like the school is promoting crossdressing.. What do you guys think about this?
They can’t force any guys to cross-dress. They have to do it voluntarily. I find that about 50% of guys will never, ever cross-dress. They would rather die. For them its just a torturous form of humiliation and they will ridicule anyone who does it. Then there are about 40% of guys who will cross-dress at some time in their lives, but only as a joke. These guys think its funny. They enjoy the attention, and they want to make us laugh and they want to shock our sensibilities. But they really don’t get anything out of it. Finally about 10% of guys have their brains hard-wired such that they have a propensity for a cross-dressing fetish.
Lots of schools have guys cross-dress in their pep rally skits, or in spirit week, or as a womanless beauty pageant. Its all done in fun, and no one is forced to cross-dress. It has to be done voluntarily.
I think it is a healthy thing for schools to do. It improves social tolerance. It helps guys to be more understanding of female perspectives. It shows guys that wearing girl’s clothing doesn’t magically transform you into a homosexual. Clothes are just clothes. Lets expand our freedoms and tolerances and challenge social conventions and barriers.
