Do u think people appreciate Maria’s looks more then her game?
Do u think that sometimes people, when talking about Maria Sharapova, mention her beauty more then her tennis skills and abilities? And when u search on the internet, u can see more pictures of Maria in swimsuits than her career statistics…I don’t think it’s her fault and don’t blame her. But maybe Maria Sharapova has become the “unit” that measures the beauty of tennis players. There r a lot more beautiful tennis players, take for example Ana Ivanovic. She has become like the barbie doll of tennis. Do u think it will stay this way forever or soon her time will pas?
Of course. She behaves more like a model than like a tennis player, with all those dresses and stuff, but when it comes to playing she have had some brilliant moments, but that’s all. Anyone can beat her and her excuses, after lost matches, are : My shoulder is injured since the last tournament, blah,blah,blah… And why do you play any tournament at all if you’re injured?! That’s really annoying. Admit that your opponent actually was better! She’ll end up like Anna Kournikova if something doesn’t change. Look at Ana Ivanovic – she is always saying that tennis comes first for her. After all trainings and tournaments she can do some comercials, photo sessions, etc. That’s why she’s a future star of tennis, even bigger than Sharapova – she can balance her life really good.
