Oh my goshness! That is so dumb. Mattel sued Bratz because they said Bratz look too much like Barbies!!!??? Bratz look nothing like barbie dolls. Bratz have snap on shoes and big heads. They also have a sense of style unlike barbies. What do you think about this lawsuit?
It’s not a matter of what they look like at all. You have been misinformed. There are several dolls out there that look more like Barbie than Bratz dolls. They are being sued because the creator of Bratz came up with the idea while employed by Mattel, the maker of Barbie. Later, he was hired at the company that currently makes Bratz. I think that because all designs made while under employment of Mattel makes the lawsuit completely fair. I know it may seem unfair to Bratz-lovers, but honestly, Mattel will probably re-release Bratz under their own logo as it is their intellectual property.
