Ballerina cake decoration?
Hi,
I am decorating a birthday cake for a party on Friday but I need some kind of ballerina detail on the cake. I initially thought of getting a tiny little ballerina figure to put in the middle and surround her with candles but I haven’t been able to find one. So I was just thinking as a last resort of buying a ballerina Barbie and sticking her on the top of the cake in splits..lol.. But can you think of any other (better) ideas?
The cake itself is a chocolate fudge cake with strawberries. I’ll put (tall) sparklers around the egde and then little normal candles just inside the layer of sparklers – it’s going to be a very sparkly cake 
(Oh and it’s an adult’s cake, but for someone who dances ballet and is very girly)
have you thought of a local arts and crafts store?
they seem to have all sorts of little items for decorations.
also, a toy’s-r-us or babies-r-us might have what you need.
just as an aside, i like the barbie ballerina idea.
