How should I price things? The price for unoform shorts is 88 cents—–is that too cheap? Okay what about $4.50 for a Marvin’s magic board that was purchased for $20—–is that too much??W

NICE suede jacket with two itty bitty stains you can barely see how much? I bought it for like $40. I was thinking of selling it for $10. A little toy where you step on the right places of the mat to make a dance. How about $8.
If What would motivate you to spend your money here? Do you think people would like to buy stuff that was sewn as long as its sturdy and nice looking? Do you think it is a good idea to give tickets to get a free brownie or cookie at a bake stand if you spend $5? How much should I charge for a Pixter plus and a Juice box (you know the MP3 thing) and a Barbie airplane set with a broken mic. and missing pieces?

2 suggestions:
1. don’t be set on a price…be willing to negotiate it. you may end up selling more stuff if you cave on the prices a little bit, and getting rid of the stuff is the point of a yard sale.
2. remember that whatever you don’t sell can still “be gotten rid of” by donating to goodwill or salvation army (or something similar)
i think the brownie/cookie idea is good, but i wouldn’t set a minimum price on it to get one free…i’d suggest giving them one if they make a purchase and also selling them (for like $0.25) if they don’t make a purchase.
