same…We all have the same wants ands desires , Just because the package is prettier does not make it any better. And don’t say “i like fat chicks, more cushion for the push’n” That got old a very long time ago….Perhaps society has taught us that the better looking eye candy is the better catch…But not always true…Beauty comes in different sizes and shapes.
I think that you are confusing both emotions and behavioral motivations. Romance and lust are not the same as love.
Romance and lust are often driven by unconscious drives as well as conscious choices. A man will seek out that which he responds to in the greatest way. Often this is triggered by physical characteristics. This has little to do with social lessons, it is related to the male’s physical response.
Love is another matter entirely. One does not find love by looking for it. Love seems to find us. We seldom have any control or the physical characteristics of the the person loved. This is where your comment that “beauty comes in different sizes and shapes” comes into play.
Something that you did not bring up, but is related has to do with physical sex (as opposed to sex as an expression of love). When it comes to just sex, men are often more influenced by performance and “head trips” than looks. A woman with great technique is preferred over one with great looks.
