Im 17 and i want to start collecting barbie dolls, where do i start?
I used to collect barbie dolls when i was little, when i was about eight i used to collect loads, i even made my mam buy me limited edition collectors barbies what were really expensive, and i wouldnt even play with them because i didnt want to ruin them, i just put them in my room and looked at them even though i was only 7-8 lol
unfortunately i moved house and i dont know what happened to them but theyre all gone now and i havn’t got any
I want to start collecting them again, where do i start? what are some nice barbies that i can save up for and is there any good websites for collectors or should i just use ebay?

The best website used to be www.barbiecollector.com, but they recently changed their site and it is not a great resource for historical dolls anymore.
I would recommend using that website for announcements re: new dolls that are coming out, and also to find your closest certified Barbie retailer.
I personally buy my dolls from 4 places, but I am in Ontario, Canada, so it may be different for you were you are. I buy from:

The two websites I listed do ship internationally. Watch Barbiecollector.com, or even subscribe to it to get updates on new dolls coming out. You could join the Barbie Fan Club and get access to exclusive dolls that are only available through the fan club, or you could just collect the ones you like
