barbie cake recipe
Cake decorating problems anyone?

So here’s the deal…
I’m making a barbie cake for my friend that just had surgery on her acl.
I want to put band-aids all over it but idk how to do that.

I don’t want to frost them right on the cake
and
last year i took a foods class where we made carrot cake and for the carrots on top we made them with frosting on wax paper, froze them, and then peeled them right off.

I tried to do the same thing and they won’t peel off…
they won’t even freeze.

I’ve tried everything I can think off.
so is there some frosting recipe that would allow me to do this?

I’ve also tried making roses with a petal tip and the flower stick thingy but the frosting is too soft and it doesn’t work

so can anyone help me?

thanks. (:

try using fondant to make the bandages. You can stick them on with a damp artists brush. To stiffen buttercream icing, add a little corn starch-about a tablespoon at a time till you get the desired consistency. Also, the ” flower stick thingy ” is called a rose nail.
