I want to be fair with the Kid’s Christmas gifts, so is this even?
For my Daughter we got her: (she’s six) –
A box with 2 barbies in it
A barbie with a horse (she has a barbie horse ps2 game)
Barbie with a barbie make-up station
Candy Land Game
And her own kids make-up set
And some play dough
For my son we got him: (he is 4)
A BIG wheel remote control truck
A Robot man (you push a button on his chest and his eyes light up and his arms and legs move)
Another Robot Man, different design
2 small spiderman puzzles
A box of little airplanes
Some Play dough
I just don’t feel like they are even, his are bigger and lights up and moves and hers arn’t. I would like to get them 1 more gift each, maybe a bigger gift for her and another smaller one for him. Do you think they are even in gifts? Or should I go ahead and buy them each another one? I just want them to be even.
Nikki- Would love to say, well I spent the same amount of money on each of you. But they are 6 and 4 they won’t know what I am talking about.
Will you adopt me?? I never got that much at that age! Looks to me like you did pretty good for both of them. Unless you teach them to be jealous of the other they won’t even care, as long as they get something they wanted. Don’t fall into the trap of buying birthday presents for all children no matter whose birthday it is. they each need their own special day1
You did good!!
