What was the student Barbie knock-off from the 80′s?
My mom did not approve of Barbies when I was a kid, so she bought me a Barbie knock-off that was a student. She came with books and yogurt and other accessories. She had thick curly hair (red? auburn?) and came in a green and white school outfit that was really more like a long sleeved bathing suit if I remember correctly. Any help here?
Sounds like a dollar store generic rip-off barbie. there were tons of them back in the 80′s when trademark laws were not as strong as they are now.
there was a “rock star” doll named Jem i think she was a normal highschool student by day and at night she was in a Rockband they had a cartoon for it and everything but i dont think it lasted more than 2 or 3 years
