Do you like this poem?
do you like this poem and does anyone have any interpretations of it?
Blank faces,
monotone,
expressionless,
Carbon copies of each other
all striving to be one.
Escaping from this
xeroxed world
in the incandescent stars
poised as ballerinas
in their ebony backdrop
LEADING
me to far-off destinations
DARING
me to get lost in my own cognizance
A parallel universe
is in these illustrious entities
Tie-dyed personalities dot
the no longer cloned globe
the humdrum
now ablaze with color
inditinguishable bodies
now incomparable
masks of comformism,
once permanently attached,
breaks free
individuality and uniqueness
seep through the costumes
of the perfect Barbie dolls
what was ashamed to be shown
is now humbly displayed
i actually really like that poem. i love the way how you describe how you view people and their conformity… it’s deep. i can totally understand how you feel. keep writing, you have some real talent.
