What is a good price for these cakes?
I’m starting my own little business of baking cakes. It’s only for family though. I am 13 years old and im an amazing cake maker. Believe it or not. Many people have told me that i should sell cakes.
I am thinking of selling cakes but i just dont know at what price to sell them.
If you were my customer what would u think of these prices?
Shape cake: ex. castle,barbie doll, car, blocks (etc.) maybe $15
Normal cake: (you know like just an ordinary squared of round cake saying happy bday and maybe some decorations) maybe $10
do u think this is too expensive to cheap or what do you think the prices should be?

What is a good name to name my bakery if i had one?
If you’re only selling to family and friends I wouldn’t worry about getting a license.
To determine your prices you’ll need to figure out the cost of all your supplies and then how much time it takes to do each type of cake. Then you can multiply the amount you want to charge per hour times the hours it takes to complete a cake. Now add the cost of supplies plus the amount charged for labor and you’ll have a total of what to charge.
