How is Barbie a bad role model for kids?

Do you think Barbie really influences a child’s body image?? I don’t agree with people who think Barbie’s promote unhealthy body images. She’s just a doll!!

*Blond
*Skinny, it is IMPOSSIBLE to ever look like Barie
*she peddles a male ideal of women.
*She is always ultra “female” pink etc.
*You very rrely get a Barbie that encourages little girls to aspire to something.
*She looks after children, making it seem that women should be maternal.
*she always has a boyfriend, this doesn’t premote inderpendance for little girls.

I could go on but I’m sure you understand where i am going with this.
