What’s a good present for a girl’s first birthday?
She already has a doll, a walker, tons of books and CDs, stacking cups and colored rings, teething toys, the Leapfrog Music Table and a shape sorting cube. I am out of ideas. I have looked on the Leapfrog, Fatbrain Toys and Baby Einstein websites, but nothing jumped out at me. Any ideas?
I suggest a Playhut item, like a crawl-through tube and tent set. My nieces loved theirs at Christmas (they are 1 and 2 yrs old), and their parents liked the fact that these items fold down flat for easy storage. They also have Playhut games such as Dora beanbag toss, great for development of gross motor skills. Other than that I can also recommend an Aquadoodle set. You can draw with water pens, so there isn’t a big mess. Good luck on what you choose….each child is so different and what one loves might not be what the next one likes. My sons were like night and day with their preferences at that age…one loved anything electronic, the other liked clay and mud puddles
