Which is more common to say, Matryoshka dolls or babushka dolls in America?

Those are Russian words.
It actually depends on the background of the person who is talking. Some people have more contact or earlier contact with one word or the other.
I know them as Matryoshka dolls (I’ll go with your spelling) , or just “Russian nesting dolls”.
A babushka is something else entirely, to me.
