Very fast 2-day delivery and I did not choose the speed dial. Auto Dolly is well built and easy to put together (screw / washer for each round). The product works well for my ’69 Camaro 4500 lbs. I weigh 150 pounds and I was only able to get the car moving in the corner alone. It can be 2 people for the first pressure on the front of the car (heavy machine) all-wheel line in the same direction to get, but after it moves quite easily. Back-end move easier, because it is much easier. Here’s a tip I learned … with bumps on the bike, and it is hard again … Use just enough to roll … otherwise make sure you compress the ball and make it difficult to turn the wheels. I also sprayed the inside wheels with WD-40 for installation … not sure if it helped, but it could not hurt.

The Merrick autodolly build
- This autodolly is solid and heavy (about 15-16lbs each) which is good. The paint is very poor. I am going to have to spray areas to avoid future rust.
It’s function – on a typical concrete garage floor – in decent but not perfect condition – i.e. like many people’s
- Well I was able to move my car into the corner of the garage – but only with the aid of plumbers pliers to move the wheels into the direction I wanted them to go. They do not swivel freely when the car is on top of the dolly (and I only have a mazda miata on top so it’s relatively light) . I also needed to use an unexpectedly large amount of exertion. I’m a fairly well built guy, work out at the gym and still struggled. I am now thinking whether or not to get the heavy duty wheels or wait and get a better product.
i give it 3 stars because it is solid and the design seems good for the tires and…it did allow me to move the car BUT it was nothing like the impression the companies videos suggest and it’s not something I would want to repeat too regularly – at least not unless i have 20 minutes to spare moving my car in or out before I can use it or park it.
More than I expected
I needed something to move vehicles around in the shop. I shopped around the auto parts stores and saw basically the same dollies…just painted different colors. These dollies looked sturdy and were the right price so I went for them. They are heavier than I imagined and roll fair but a 4000 pound vehicle isn’t a piece of cake…need 2 people to push it around. Good money spent wisely.
