Currency forecasts/predictions – how can i find out whether the pound is going to get weaker?
I’m moving back to Australia from the UK soon, and as the pound is so weak against the Australian dollar at the moment, I was going to wait for the exchange rate to improve before changing back my savings. Seeing as the UK Chamber of Commerce has announced today that we’re on the brink or recession, i’m concerned about the value of the pound falling further. Does anyone know whether the credit crisis is expected to have a further effect on the value of the pound? Does anyone know of any websites or forums where i could research currency value predictions?
The reason that the exchange rate is what it is now, is because half the expert currency traders in the world think it’s too high and the other half think it’s too low. Flip a coin and take your pick. Half of them will be right and half will be wrong.
