Need help with my mom!!!?

It’s in great condition. Still in the box and with all of it’s accessories.
See, my mom’s mother gave this barbie to her when she was a girl. But my mom’s mother died before I was born. The barbie went through a fire with her and stayed with her until we moved to our current location. Then one of my sister’s friends stole it and we have no idea who it was. My mom kept looking for it for a while though, but that was a few years ago.
Like I said it’s in mint condition, with all of its accessories and it’s still in the box. So what do you think? Does this gift sound awesome, okay or pretty stupid?
If I was your mother, I would be absolutely thrilled that you took the time and made the effort to find a replacement barbie for me. I bet if you wrap it and on her birthday ask her to guess what it is, she wouldn’t in a million years guess it right!
My birthday is in September…..need another Mom!
