Help! I need a funny idea or inspiration for a comic about women’s representation in the media!?
Basically, I need to draw a comic about women’s portrayl in the media, like the unrealistic expectations, or false images the media makes women feel about themselves/society, etc.
I wasnted to encorporate Barbie’s 50th anniversary or whatever…. maybe something about a little girl seeing a barbie or something.
Anyway, anyone have any funny ideas?
Ok so this normally proportioned 18 year old arrives to the audition for this new TV Show “American Girls” then the producers of the show see her like she’s an alien or something.
“Girl you’re not blonde, you’re not wearing mini-skirt, you don’t have an insinuating attitude, you don’t even have extremely good curves, I bet you don’t even anorexic like most of today’s models, no, no, no, you can’t be the ‘American Girl’ I want for my show”
So the girl wants to make her body more voluptuos in one single step so her friend a scientist girl tryes a new drug on her to instanly shape her curves, but the result is that she gets extremely thin with giantic breasts that she can hardy carry with her back, as she goes to the TV show audition to kill the producers in revange the head producer sees her and says pointing at her:
“That one, that is the perfect ‘American girl’ for the show”
