is it cute or immature?
My son is 10 and still has accidents in his pants, and still has temper tantrums…For example today i took him to wallmart and he kept asking me to go to the girl section and begged me to buy him a barbie doll…and i said no only because he called be a c**nt,i dont judge. besides that he never seems to make it to the bathroom…im taking him to a shrink tommorow because he etheir has anger management or something. i cannot deal anymore, i dont know wat to do, i think im a bad mom overall and my husband is very lazy..and he calls me lazy cause i dont cook and lay in bed alot(im tired yall no?its the ecnomy) My parents are good with him though, and tommorrow they’ll have him. Maybe its me???? i mean yea i lay in bed and dont cook but he’s 10 and i do have microwave meals he can put em it the microwave….and my husband makes meals on the weekends i dont see a problem
If your son is 10 and still has accidents, and going to the barbie doll section, it may be something emotional, and I think your doing great in taking him to a Psychologist so they can make him talk about what really is going on. These therapies are going to help him allot, and hopefully you take some of their advice too. You don’t want to make fun of your child because he’s going to a Psychologist, using the word “shrink” sounds inappropriate. I also think you are the one who needs more therapy than your child. I think that you are lazy and obviously you don’t have the time to sit and talk to your child. If you read what you wrote, its nothing but excuses and complaining. Your tired and you lay in bed all day sounds like you suffer from depression yourself. Get up and cook for your son, there’s nothing like a home cooked meal and sitting down and joining him for dinner, talk about anything that comes to mind. He is only 10 and is seeking attention from mom and needs to be heard. Im not judging you, but sometimes we all need an outside person to tell it like it is. You also wrote that tomorrow you were taking your child to the appointment , and then you wrote that your parents will have him for tomorrow. I really hope that you do take him, and please try to help him out with just therapy and try really hard in not putting him on medication, that will only make it worse in the long run. Hopefully you go to see a doctor too. That would be the first step in helping yourself and your child. I think that would make you a good mother. If your laziness continues in not cooking and not providing your child with emotional help , all I could say is “don’t expect his future to be bright” because obviously he crying out to be heard. He 10 and he still wants a mother, just as you still get help from your parents. Once again, Im not judging you, only god is able too.
