Is there a “Dora” Barbie doll?
My daughter’s 4th birthday is coming up at the end of this month. She saw this Dora dollhouse that she wants. We decided that the whole “Dora the Explorer” thing will probably grown out of soon. Kids go through phases. So we found a huge doll house that fits Barbie dolls in it. That way if she grows out of the Dora phase, she can still use the house for her Barbies. My question is…do they have any Barbie kind of dolls that are Dora characters? That way she can still have Dora in her dollhouse??? Diego? Boots? BackPack? Swiper? Abuelita? Yes, I know all the characters, LMAO.
I don’t recall seeing one, but it wouldn’t be too hard to kitbash it. I have a Teresa that looks like a grown-up Dora & a Joe that could easily be a grown-up Diego. I have seen many “safari”-style outfits made for the pre-90s Barbie. Dolls from the Kelly or Tommy series might also be able to play the leads as children…
