Coins from the US Mint?
I am collecting the US Presidents 1 dollar coins. I have not been able to get all the ones that I need from my local bank or post office. So I have been looking at ordering some from the US Mint.
Does it make a difference if I purchase the coin that is uncirculated vs circulated in terms of long term value?
I am not looking to sell any coins, I collect for fun in my own free time and started a while back upon inheriting some family coins. I am just curious. Anyone know?
Yes, it will in the future make a difference whether you collect circulated vs. uncirculated coins. It will probably take another 100 years to be worth anything, but spend the extra and buy uncirculated coins.
Anything worth doing is worth doing right.
